Against those happy and innocent souls
By ushering an ugly moment of horror

These men of hatred presented their case
As if proudly saying: Let this be known!
Feeling righteous in their misguided path
They let loose a force from the pit of hell

In the name of those who have lost their lives
And their grief-stricken mourning families
Let the truth now speak to vanguish all lies
And free mankind from evil tendencies
In the name of love which that night was crushed
Along with laughter, joy and affection
Let justice go forth, even if harassed
To restore goodness within the nation
In the name of all one would call holy
Or humanity commonly revered
