26 Writing Pen 01 Thoughts On Love 02 Farewell To England 03 A Birthday Wish ****************************************************************************************************
In the land of my birth I thought of love And how it has made me ever so joyful Flooding my old heart with the grace of life Making my whole self forever grateful In the land of my youth love was ended And the lovers threw away their feelings When secrets were known and hopes were strangled It became easy to give up trying In the land of my dying affection I would search for love that has gone away Earnestly asking the tiring question Writing Pen Almost all the time, through most of the days Sonnet 077 Was it truly love or merely a game? Anglicia Why life without it does not feel the same? AD 2004
02 Farewell To EnglandA solemn farewell to a gentle land With deep affection I whispered sweetly Having seen it now as an older man So much of its ways have made me happy Precious images from some sights and scenes Keep on lingering in my inner mind Urging me to keep all that I have seen So could always I go back there to find Sacred desire of my younger days Which took roots in me and grew in my thoughts Writing Pen A noble pattern and its valiant ways Sonnet 078 A common wisdom I once truly sought Anglicia From England, with love, I shall now depart AD 2004 Bringing its goodnes in my deepest heart
Many years have passed since that precious time When we used to share our inner thoughts Being young and free then we dared to climb The great heights of love where joy may be sought Although we have now gone so far apart In our truly separate bonding It seems affection that was in our hearts Comes back now and then as if reminding How friendship could last till the end of days If cultivated with good intentions And nurtured so through the kindest of ways Writing Pen Even praise-worthy manners of action Sonnet 079 On this blessed day shall I remember Anglicia For your happiness I say my prayer AD 2004
