01 Angelic Message

Not so long ago a message arrived

Brought by an angel from I knew not where

With whom many thoughts and old dreams I shared

Thinking she was a messenger of life

My slumbering soul was gently revived

By her innocent ways and pleasant care

As one the message and message bearer

Entered my heart and made me feel alive

Knowing not for sure what was happening

I thought it was my sweet poetic muse

Coming to enlist my old writing pen                                  Angelic Love

Until I realized that love was growing                                         Sonnet 84

As my feelings were suddenly let loose                                      Petrarca

To embrace with joy this angelic friend                             D3/08/02/2005

                              02 Angelic Vision

With love came visions of a youthful world

One we thought existed, though never seen

Where life was happy and all were so keen

To raise love's banner and raise it unfurled

Affectionate words, polished like great pearls

Were exchanged daily, after careful screen

To ensure beauty was all they would mean

With sweet melody of a singing bird

From words and visions came new fantasies

That strengthened the will to love and cherish

Angelic Love                           The phantom of love who was kept apart

Sonnet 85                         To remain as one of life's mysteries

Petrarca                             A sense eternal, which would not perish

AD 2005                                As strong desire and plague of the heart

03 Angelic Ending

Passionate dreams and beautiful visions

Though wonderful, alas, they always end

That would be so for uncommitted men

Who would not show true love by real action

For angels too sometimes have emotion

And desires as well as some future plans

By which a life-path they could so amend

Before moving on to new horizons

With sad feelings and reluctant farewell

This mortal man let the angel go

To seek the love that may bring happiness                       Angelic Love

That could one day be a story to tell                                         Sonnet 86

Although ended one thing would remain so                             Petrarca

It's angelic thought and its pure kindness                        D4/09/02/2005
